The two youngest sons of LaVar Ball will play with a professional basketball team in Lithuania for one year. LiAngelo Ball, 19, and LaMelo Ball, 16, have signed a one-year contract with Prienai Vytautas in the Lithuanian Basketball League, The Vertical reports. The brothers will begin their international careers in January.

Going to another country is a two sided sword for him. According to the UCLA grading sheet, he is sixth on the list of grades with commitments at 79. The highest is 93 to a guard in San Diego. He is listed as a small forward and has only a three star rating out of five. So, he may be looked at at UCLA, but not near NBA numbers. He could have a good life overseas playing if he can get used to the differences. But NBA material he probably isn’t and he didn’t have any major schools wish to sign him but UCLA. So. if he wants to play, the move is good.
However, walking away from a possible free ride to a degree with a major university in the US may be a huge mistake. So, daddy can eat that one.

Let's talk about chances. Some people don't have the genetic DNA and gray matter suitable for a modern educaton. Pushing the Ball boys to pursue an education is an exercise in futility, and will do them no good whatsoever. It's something the boys don't have control over—they were born that way.

Instead, due to their father’s arrogance, they will be struggling to find playing time in some village in Eastern Europe on an obscure team filled with grown men who mostly don’t speak English.
English is the international language of basketball. Nearly all his teammates will most likely speak enough English to converse. And almost all the young ladies will speak English so they’ll be ok in that department. LOL.
Bet neither one has much going on in the smarts department and can’t read cursive.

Exactly right. It’s fundamentally based. They practice a lot, too. I suspect what will happen is they will play for this village team for the rest of the year. Then next year they will move to the big club in Lithuania, named Zalgiris, and play top level Euro League basketball there. A former player from UCLA played for Zalgiris a few years back. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had a hand in this.
