Riyadh (AFP) - Saudi Arabia on Monday lifted a decades-long ban on cinemas, part of a series of social reforms by the powerful crown prince that are shaking up the ultra-conservative kingdom.
"Commercial cinemas will be allowed to operate in the kingdom as of early 2018, for the first time in more than 35 years," the culture and information ministry said in a statement, adding that the government will begin licensing cinemas immediately.

When they tear down the mosques and madrasa’a they’ve built here in the USA, I’ll THEN think differently about the Saudi’s .... this is part of a long sighted plan.

Indeed....our media is wrapped up in ‘Tabloid’ news....but of course with their integration with Hollywood you can’t expect anything more.
I generally view foreign news sites in order to find what’s happening out in the world.

Jeez, if the Saudis see the crap Hollywood puts out...maybe, just maybe, they will hit us again for the crap they are putting out. Maybe they will hit LA and Hollywood this time.
