If they really want a cruelty-free holiday, do NOT come to my house.

I have five children who are skinny as rails and eat like it was their first meal in a week.

Plus the discussion usually revolves around church activities and how did we cook the meat, so I am sure the snowflakes would have plenty of reason to be mad.

My future DIL is vegetarian. A piece of cake compared to finding food for my vegan niece to eat. Jeeze.

I’m a “Biblical” eater....I use the phrase, “And a voice came to him, Arise, Peter, kill and eat!” as my reason....when God tells me to eat meat, I listen.....if only I was a better listener in other areas....Praise Jesus and His Gift of Salvation!

It kind of negates the argument that veganism (or vegetarianism) is somehow natural or healthy, when people eating that way pay high prices for foods that are heavily processed to resemble meats. I’d rather just go for the minimally processed meat.

And I question the “cruelty-free” claims. To feed vegetarians or vegans takes up more prime crop land, and all of that soil preparation and other tasks done to raise a crop destroy habitats and kill small animals.

Isn’t it curious how “vegans” always seem to look like the survivors of the Burma Railway!

Ask any anthropological dentist and he/she will tell you that we were designed to be omnivores...vegetables,fruits,grains,eggs,meat *and* fish!

And I'm exactly that and have been since childhood.I've always loved beef, chicken, pork, lamb, various vegetables, various fruits, various grains and certain dairy products.

hey vegans- why miss out on the fantastic taste of meat? There is a new meat substitute called ‘the impossible burger’ which is beign served in paul and mark wallburg’s restaurants and it’s claimed to be nearly impossible to tell that it’s strictly veggie burger-

Here’s the link to the advert for it=-

I don’t have a problem with people pursuing veganism, but I would never go out of my way to accommodate a vegan’s needs for dinner at my house. Vegans should eat with other vegans. Or they can bring their own stuff and prepare it. It would be like expecting a gentile to prepare a kosher meal for a Jewish guest who keeps kosher.

Laughing at the 2 types of replies to this thread.

First type is vegans look like concentration camp survivors.

Second type is that vegans are obese.

Either CAN be true. Has nothing to do with veganism.

Any vegetarians are welcome. They will find food that they can eat.

Vegans are eating an unnatural and and unhealthy diet. They are not welcome.
