This bow and arrow trick shot will make your head spin, but watch carefully how he pulls it off.
A lot of people online have already called this video fake, but theyve failed to notice one important detail, and we can confidently say this is 100% real.
Notice the guy is shooting an arrow with red fletchings, because in a second an arrow with blue fletchings is going to be fired at him, and hes going to catch it. . .
Oh, we forgot to mention hes doing all of this with a blindfold covering his eyes too!
Admittedly, watching a man attempt to snag an arrow out of mid air while blindfolded made us a little nervous. While he clearly had the timing down for this video, we cant help but think of the close calls that came about while trying to learn that timing!
This probably took hours of practice, and should never be recreated at home. Safety first!
Video at site.
It looks real to me. He had to do the relays to setup the catch. The last bow probably was not a heavy compound bow. He could time his catch from the sound of the last arrow releasing. He could practice with a large blunt rubber point which would only cause a bruise if it hit his hand. Good trick!
In 1973, my small Sheriff’s office of 14 sidearm-carrying co-workers had a “Fletcher”, “Archer” and a “Bowman”all female, but still... ;)
Nice.
The dentist who pulled my wisdom teeth was Dr. Slaughter.
David Carradine used to deflect arrows with his arms on Kung Fu. Drove the Indians crazy.
What I find funny is he could snag the arrow out of flight, but he had a hard time picking up the bow.
Urologist in Rochester, NY specializing in vasectomies was Dr. Stoop.
And the physician named Bonebreak.
LOL
Actually, it was Dr. Stop. I knew him in the 1970’s.
Nice Airstream! Got to be late 50’s / early 60s, sweet.
