Checkout his Wiki entry. He’s been very controversial ever since he started running for office in Gadsten, Ala. 40 years ago. Gadsden is a small town, about 36,000 people, with an equally small group of lawyers. In that small a town, with relatively few lawyers, everybody who’s anybody knows everybody else. If he were the pervert he’s being accused of being, he’d have been spotted and destroyed long ago.
Actually, with his first and only wife of 40 years and four kids by her, he’s as clean as, or far cleaner than, the vast majority of his false accusers, all of whom should remember:
“Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
