Police say a getaway car ran out of gas after an armed robbery near Atlanta, leading to the speedy arrest of two suspects.
Gwinnett County police Cpl. Michele Pihera says 18-year-old Najee Logan and 21-year-old Justin Larry were charged with armed robbery after their arrest early Tuesday after officers found the car on empty.
Pihera's statement says the victim surrendered a wallet to two men at gunpoint in a grocery store parking lot about 1 a.m. Tuesday in a greater Atlanta suburb. Police say officers found the car about 15 minutes later with Logan and Larry inside.

There is a learning disability known as ‘developmental learning disability’. It occurs when an otherwise normal child misses classroom academic time due to discipline, illness, or other reasons. When a child misses 20% of class time each year they will fall behind academically each year. With the advent of socially passing students (to prevent negative self esteem) students enter the fifth grade as third/ fourth grade students absent a solid academic background and lacking the critical thinking skills necessary for success in the American educational system. They enter the eighth grade as sixth graders, and the tenth grade as seventh/eighth grade students. The developmental disability accelerates as they are socially promoted and when as tenth grade students they are not able to academically graduate if they stay in school (they will not stay past 18 no matter what grade they are in), they cannot legally obtain a drivers license or a work permit they are left to the streets or gov programs.
A student that does not read at an eighth grade + level cannot enter a GED program either.
One can see how an otherwise normal child cannot successfully navigate an IQ test.
Don’t know if this is the reason for lowering the score or not.
Justin doesn’t quite have that “dead” look in his eyes yet. Maybe there is hope for him.
They don’t look very smart.
I hate when I run out of gas during a robbery...Note to criminals - make sure gas tank is filled before robbing...
Used to work gangs in a prominent Southern California inner city area. I spotted one of the guys I kept an eye on with a large bandage on his arm, and he swore that “a big wrench fell on his arm while working on his car”. He said he had gone to the hospital to get patched up. Further investigation showed he had apparently gotten hit by a .38 caliber wrench. The best part was finding out that he and his cohorts had gone by a rival hangout to lay down some fire at the front of the house. Unfortunately, the car broke down right there, and while the occupants scrambled to get it started to speed off, that wrench somehow put a bullet in our boy’s arm. Lesson learned: Never take a clunker to do a drive-by.
Woulda ended sooner if they had a electric car... : )
I bet they were just late for the amends club meeting
