I lived 12 miles north of SF for over 20 years.

I also lived in the belly of the beast, 45 miles north of SF, for 30 years. I left in 2013. Great weather, but, yes, a cesspool for sure.

San Rafael here. You must have been in Santa Rosa area-—Marin/Napa/Sonoma—Paradise! Well—the weather and landscape at least. It really is such a shame what has happened to this once magical area. I saw with my own eyes the destruction unfold—so many issues at work contributing to the downfall. Not to be “racist” but the Locust like swarm of illegal aliens just decimated the landscape—as well as the decay of morality and Values in general...such a shame.
