1984 is a frightening book. I have read and re-read it so many times I have lost count.

It is meant to be a warning, not an instructional manual, as the left seems to view it.

In arguments with the left, it is interesting they would view events in Orwell's 1984 as something that might happen under a conservative government, when in fact those things have actually occurred under liberal governments.
