From unfinished flooring to doors that don't open, ... the world's WORST workers

They say that if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing properly or not at all - but apparently not everyone shares that work ethic.

Disgruntled people from around the world have taken to social media to share images of half-hearted jobs.

One person was confused when she walked into a public toilet to find that the bottom of the doors were so high you could see straight through to the person using them.

A hungry punter was left less than amused when they were served a burger with the cheese stuck on the side of the bun.

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if that sideways tile lady was on the wall opposite those high stall doors?

The business’s name should be listed prominently.

One of the most difficult things to do is to hire a “handy man” to do random projects around the house.

More often then not, they don’t show up or if they show up, they are drunk or high, a one week project takes months and the quality is terrible.

Get references and demand that you put 0% down for materials and upfront expenses. That way, there will be incentive for the worker to get the job done ASAP. Oh, and make sure that they can prove that they and their workers are bonded (insured for any damage or injuries).

And good luck!

And when you find a good one, treat him like a rare diamond and tip him well.

That all looks like stuff my former Teamster neighbor would do on purpose to register his displeasure with management.

We were at McDonalds and my son got a hamburger but with no burger. When he took it up to the manager she said, again?

High gap rest room doors are deliberate in Vancouver public rest rooms. Maybe a public sex and drug problem?

Whereas Ireland has very low gap doors, civilized.

Too many workers have zero work ethic or pride in their work. After Katrina, I had contractors working on the house and ended up firing them all because the work was so bad. I was able to teach myself the skills needed to do it right - background from Dad doing all sorts of projects and enlisting my help was key to a lot of the abilities.

He ordered the McBun Burger - nothing but the bun. It’s a vegetarian option at McDonalds.

Oh, no kidding. And I will happily recommend him (or her) to friends, family and neighbors.

They are truly a gem.

You have to be an expert in the trade that you supervise.

Agree - and one also needs to care enough to be able to work like an expert - these days most seem to think they should come in, tell you what to do, then charge you for doing the work - zero work ethic among far too many -— and I know how they tend to vote.....

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a business to shine. Makes it easier if your competitors are terrible. If you can find the right people.
