Fox News Channel host Jeanine Pirro (juh-NEEN' PEER'-oh) has been issued a speeding ticket for driving 119 mph (192 kph) in a 65 mph (105 kph) zone in upstate New York. The Daily News reports the former Westchester County district attorney was stopped by a trooper on Sunday afternoon in Tioga County. A state police spokesman says he doesn't know what type of car Pirro was driving or whether she had any passengers. Pirro says in a statement through Fox News Channel she had been driving for hours to visit her ailing mother and didn't realize how fast she was going. She says she will "pay the consequences." The ticket is returnable Jan. 8.

Didn’t realize she was going 119 mph? Tell it to the judge.

To bad he doesn’t have a cheerleader squad like she does on FR.

I swear people here can at least try to not act like they are giving a person that should have known better a big old pass because they are horny old dudes.

Maybe she was being targeted by the police for her views, but I’m not sure how a cop targets a particular driver going 119 MPH

Which kind of shoots the "targeting" suspicion, don't you think?

Hey, so you’re the other one who had a Chevy Monza!

It was my first car. Got it used in 1985. It was a 1978 model and a V-6 manual transmission.

I still miss that car. Was so fun to drive.

Aluminum engine? A guy in college had that, and it struggled with 5 guys in it going out for a fast food lunch.

Maybe around 800lbs load.

I’ve driven that stretch of road dozens of times. Her mom lives in my home town. A relative who works in a store in my home town told me Pirro was in his store purchasing a microwave for her mom.

Most of it rusted...for nothing. So I was able to increase “payload” with the weight I lost due to rust. LOL

“I heard reported it was a Cadillac.”

She was being followed by a Nash Rambler. It’s horn went beep-beep-beep!

"Didn’t realize she was going 119 mph? Tell it to the judge."

I'm sure she'll just admit the infraction and pay the ticket without ever seeing a judge.

A conservative gets a speeding ticket and it makes headline news. Lois Lerner uses the IRS as a Gestapo, and the story ends up on Page 111 under the truss ads.

Well, it seems she’s not so perfect.....Why would you say that? She disregarded the speed suggestion, didn’t hit anybody and didn’t kill anybody. So what?

She says she did not notice...?
Maybe she thought she was on the German Autobahn.
Did not notice. Imagine what she would say to someone in her courtroom who tried that excuse.

I had a 1976 Monza with a V6 3.8L and a 4 Speed. It was geared pretty high, to yield quite good acceleration in a heavy car. Fuel mileage on long trips was poor, so I replaced it with a 5 Speed. Still decent acceleration, and trip mileage was much better.

I drove that car for ten years. Drove from California to Florida and back again. Very reliable.

Oh my, that’s just wrong. How on earth can you make a 350 V8 only put out 125hp????? ...hopefully it still had loads of torque.

My wife’s car has a 3.5L V6 that puts out over 300hp. I had a 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo, 2.4L V4, putting out 300hp.

For a V8 - that’s criminal!!! lol
