Why do movie and TV stars think their personal opinions are so special, and so must be shared with the world?

I was at the grocery store the other day. At the check-out line all the clerk did was ring up my order, then take my payment. He didn’t give me his personal opinions on Thanksgiving or Global Warming. Why can’t movie and TV stars be more like grocery store clerks?

“...Why can’t movie and TV stars be more like grocery store clerks?...”

Because the poor grocery store clerk is out actually working trying to make a living. Movie & TV stars are like the King’s court jesters of old....nothing but entertainment..IF you wanna call it that. In their pea brain, they think they’re something special. In reality, they are a NOTHING burger....kinda like Congress.
