Hard to believe anyone here still uses Firefox after they booted their founder for supporting traditional marriage.

When they did that, I deleted it from my computer, loaded Pale Moon and never looked back.

I’m currently enjoying Brave. The fastest browser I’ve ever used.

I've stuck with Firefox all this time only due to the close knit relationship with the email reader Thunderbird. But even that relationship has been strained recently. If it's time to move on ... what should my new email reader be?

****

Yup. Freepers have short memories. I dropped it and the same conservative guy told everyone to use Brave. One of the longest boycotts for me so far..

Hard to believe anyone here still uses Firefox after they booted their founder for supporting traditional marriage.

Hard to believe anyone still uses Internet Explorer or Edge when Bill Gates and Microsoft matches to the Brady Campaign, is a corporate supporter of the liberal think tank, the Center for American Progress, is a partner of The Nature Conservancy, contributes to the Center for Reproductive Rights, which supports abortion, contributes to Girls, Inc., which is a pro-abortion organization,is a corporate contributor to Achieve, Inc., which is a liberal educational organization that supports Common Core, is a sponsor for the League of United Latin American Citizen’s (LULAC) 2017 National Gala, which advocates for sanctuary cities, is a member of Georgia Prospers, Accessed 8/11/16. Georgia Prospers is a coalition of businesses opposing religious liberty ... etc, etc. etc.

Hard to believe anyone still uses Google Chrome when everything Google does is about collecting personal data, and the company fired someone for writing a well-thought out memo for internal consumption questioning political correctness. Google is actively helping the communist Chinese government suppress dissent while simply blacklisting free speech it dislikes in the United States altogether.

Hard to believe anyone still uses Apple Safari when Tim Cook has made it clear that Apple will use it's considerable financial and corporate clout to promote the social left agenda across the board.

The rest are all using Mozilla or Chrome engines, except for a handful of Linux only niche browsers. Everyone's hands are dirty.

I continue to use Firefox and derivatives because:

I won't use a browser that doesn't have a full menu bar.

I don't like anything that is attached to the Google or Facebook borg-like eco-system if I can avoid it.

I won't use a product that crashes/doesn't work a substantial amount of the time (IE/Edge) except when necessary [e.g. for employer or browser-specific web apps] (IE).

Agreed. And it’s not necessary.

Thanks to this thread and your post I just tried the Brave browser. I like it a lot but one thing that I can do with every browser is when I press the backspace key it should do the same thing as hitting the back arrow on the browser itself. Is there a setting to change hotkeys in the settings somewhere I may have missed when I looked?
