For years we conservatives have complained impotently about the derailing culture and lack of entertainment choices, and yet, which one of us stepped up to fill the void? We watched literature join the dumpster fire that is modern culture and cried tears of helplessness. But no more. Take heart, for men and women of action have arrived! Superversive Press, whose controversial Forbidden Thoughts anthology captured our attention in January 2017, has been hard at work to turn the tide. According to their latest press release, "With published books by two Dragon Award nominees, and more works prepared for release in the coming year, Superversive Press is leading the way to a newer, more hopeful future for science fiction and fantasy.”

There is some amazing non-SJW fiction out there. The Superversive Press people, Castalia House, Nick Cole (the Galaxy’s Edge series he is doing with Jason Anspach is better than Star Wars to me), Jon Del Arroz, Michael Bunker, John C. Wright, Brian Niemeier, and Owen Stanley (The Missionaries is hilarious).

“Nick Cole”

Try his ‘Wastelands’ trilogy. I really liked it.

And then, of course, there’s the almost the entire stable at Baen Books. . . Larry Correia, the International Lord of Hate. John Ringo. The Krat. Mad Mike. Sarah Hoyt. And the Powder-Blue Carebear with a Flamethrower, Brad Torgersen

Of course, I’m predjudiced, I know them all personally, some for decades. . .

Yep, truly amazing story. He is hands down my favorite author. I was initially disappointed he was starting the Galaxy’s Edge series, as I was hoping for some more of the Wyrd book series. As of the 4th book I prefer this StarWarsNotStarWars universe to the “real” thing.

At some point I want to get into the Monster Hunter series. I have Kratman’s The Caliphate, but haven’t started it yet.

I’ll have to check out those other authors books.

Very proud that my essay “Father Cincinnatus” is included in this anthology.
