Captain Oversign. What a putz.
Kept it close the first half. Got buried in the second.
Now Arkansas needs to get rid of Bielema.
Tennessee is on track to have one of the worst seasons in its football history. Losing more than eight games in a season has rarely happened at UT. LSU and Vanderbilt both have a good chance of giving UT only a four win season.
I thought they would wait until the end of the season.
I wonder if they worked out a deal on his large buyout.
My godfather was the Director of Bands at the University of Georgia for many years. When he decided the band wouldn't play 'Dixie' after every touchdown, and changed the name from the Dixie Redcoat Band to just the Redcoat Band, he had to have a couple of State Troopers accompany him ''Tween the Hedges'.
I didn’t think Orgeron would survive this season but now it looks like he will get another year.
physical ability yes, but brains? No.
Personally, the NFL damaged all of football and these players will soon be playing in the NFL.
The Coach happened to be in a profession that has cut its' own throat. He's collateral damage. Sucks for him.
$8 million buyout, he won’t be hurting for money.
Long overdue. Today is the first time Ive been excited about Tennessee football in a long time.

A coach who is the least congenial with the oress and public is shown the door...what took so long?
Tennessee has lost all six of its conference games this season, including five in a row.

Wouldn’t that be six in a row?
Been off a cliff since Lan Kiffen.
Tennesssee’s big problem is that they think they’re a football school like the schools to the South. On the other hand, they have a 20,000 seat arena and basketball fan support second only to Kentucky. They need to emphasize basketball over football. And I’m talking real basketball, men’s basketball, not the girls.
SEC schools don’t mess around, problem is there are only so few quality Head Coaches to go around. Sad that my Team UCLA has a worthless POS Athletic Director and a Stuffy Marxists Admin. That can careless about Sports.
As someone who is a college football fan, and an observer, I think what is going on in the SEC is interesting. Since the Nick Saban era, there is more pressure to win and win quick. IMO, Butch reached the limit of his capabilities as a coach. He will find work, but probably not at a major university with any kind of winning football culture.
