His last few (boring) fights were too high in my mind. Props, Georges, I can’t wait to see him fight Whitaker.
GSP did well on the feet. Controlled the first round, sharp jab, started to fade in the 2nd.
But he only got Mike’s back by dropping him!
It was a pretty good standup contest overall. GSP got him down a few times but Bisping was able to get back up. Then GSP knocked him down the last time and started really doing a number on him with some elbows. He eventually took his back and got the RNC. Bisping didn’t tap but went to sleep.

thanks- was listening to the youtube vid where they sit around and discuss the fight but don’t show it- sounded like george was really tired in last round- but managed to get him down- they didn’t say how he won though-
thanks- maybe george’s jab is a powerhouse- I’ll have to watch it when it’s available- i thought maybe josh just didn’t defend the repeated jabs- but maybe it was just because George was just that fast- i dunno- will be interestingness to see- although mike isn’t real fast at avoiding either- (but he is awkward which makes him hard to hit sometimes)-
oh well, we’ll see if george can hold hte belt for awhile- like the group said- they expect he’ll really get serious and get in fantastic shape now- but we’ll see- peopel who come back after long layoffs rarely do well- he may be an exception though- although I didn’t really see much that impressed me as far as his stand up fighting skills back when he was fighting regular- just good at getting people down and holding em- He’s certainly an interesting champ
