Hollywood has a rampant and pervasive problem of men sexually abusing boys and young men, according to actors and lawyers who are speaking up about misconduct and harassment in the wake of an allegation against actor Kevin Spacey.
Its a very taboo subject, said Alex Winter, an actor and director who said he was sexually abused as a pre-teen child actor. I dont know of any boys in any pocket of the entertainment industry that do not encounter some form of predatory behavior.
Its really not a safe environment.
Spacey has been accused of making an unwanted sexual advance toward Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp, who says he was 14 years-old at the time of the alleged incident in 1986. According to Rapp, Spacey, who was 26 at the time, lay on top of him and tried to seduce him.
Spacey, star of Netflix show House of Cards and former artistic director of Londons Old Vic theatre, apologized after BuzzFeed published Rapps allegations, saying he did not remember the encounter. If he did what Rapp described, it would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, he added.

"I would like to think innocent until proven guilty, even Kevin Spacey. Its the left who make us all guilty at first. Just desserts."
When it's just one allegation, I agree with you, but look at the totality of this. First off, did Spacey come out vehemently denying this? No, he tried to cover it up by saying it's okay because I'm gay and I was drunk. Then there's this
https://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/celebrity-news/artistic-director-of-london-s-royal-court-theatre-there-were-concerns-about-kevin-spacey-for-years-a3671561.html
There are all of these people coming out saying this has been in the rumor mill for years about Spacey. Yes, in court he's innocent until proven guilty, but in the court of public opinion, I tend to think Spacey is very guilty. These Hollywood types know who the pedos and rapers are, they just don't come out and tell the public until it's already out there. I'll bet most of Hollywood know who the ones were who raped and abused the Coreys, we just don't know.

He hasn’t been charged with anything.

Money and Fame. I have seen parents acting terribly just to get their kids a role in their local high school musical.

Actually it probably will help his career his acceptance of his gayness. A badge of honor to the left.

And we cant see statistics of (in general) how many sexual abuses of minors are homosexual. That information is hidden from the public to shield homosexuality.
"Actually, I think those numbers can be found with some serious effort.
Several years ago I read a piece in a very reputable publication (truthfully I can't recall the name), that quoted FBI stats on this subject. IIRC, about 87% of pedos on boys are gay men. The point of the piece was the insanity of having gay men as boy scout leaders."
----------------------------------------------
I know about those but they are still trying to shield homosexuality somewhat. What we really need to see is out of all minor sexual abuse, how many self-identify as homosexual?
That information is often hidden at the lowest level because politicians order sheriffs and police not to include it. Even the FBI can't know that the way things are.
Probably only the actual juvenile sexual assault detectives know the true story and only a retired one could tell it - current detectives would be fired.

Lets not forget Leonardo DiCaprio who I believe had a gay sex scene at the age of 21 in the movie Total Eclipse. What is interesting that River Phoenix was to have the role of French Poet, Rimbaud, but River Phoenix died. So the role was given to Leonardo.
As for Leonardo I read an interview that he gave, The interviewer asked him how was it like growing up in an environment where his father friends were famous cartoonist & poets & they cane to visit. He said it was OK then the interviewer asked what was it like to have Allen Ginsberg at his house. Leonardo response “I do not want to talk about him? Moved on to another question.
For me this is very telling that Hollywood is full of vipers preying on children. I pray justice is served for River & Corey Haims & many others who were harmed.

I cant believe one allegation has shut down the House of Cards. Hundreds of people are employed making it.

I dont understand any parent that would let their children go anywhere near Hollywood.
You walk around LA with a cute kid and people actually tell you your kid should have an agent. When I had a tiny boy who looked 2 at age 5 (people daily were BLOWN AWAY to know he was 5) who taught himself to read, I thought, hey, he could do some commercials and put away some money for his future. He could play a toddler in pampers but still read from a cue card. So I took him to my friends childrens agent. In that one meeting, she asked me to leave the office and wait in the waiting room and she invited a new man into the room with her and my child. DONE. Never again. Separating a tiny child from his loving parent is NOT OK in any adult situation period. (Schools sort of excepted)
