My wife’s brother-in-law is a rabid catholic. He always votes Democrat. My wife’s sister is the same.
My family is (are ?) breeders. RAT-itis is like religion. If you are born into a Roman Catholic RAT family, that’s what you become...end of discussion.
almost everyone on all sides of my family, including in-laws are RATS. Most are Irish-Catholic or school teachers\admins or work for a Fed\State\local government.
My nephew is big shot with USAID. Interned with the Clinton Foundation. He is an all around great guy. Generous to a fault. Yet, he’s a RAT and a Packer fan.
His dad is a retired school teacher. All around good guy - RAT and a Packer fan.
My son and myself and one cousin are the exceptions(that I know of) to the rest of the men in our family.
Not sure how or when I escaped. Glad I did.
