Report: Colin Kaepernick Lands $1 Million Book Deal

Ron Burgundy himself would be taken aback by how quickly this story escalated. Early Tuesday, we brought you reports that former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was shopping a book deal to New York publishers. Later on Tuesday afternoon, reports surfaced that Kaepernick did indeed, ink a seven-figure book deal with a New York publisher. According to Page 6 of the New York Post, Kaepernick has secured a $1 million book deal with Random House imprint One World.

Random House is an American book publisher and the largest general-interest paperback publisher in the world. As of 2013, it is part of Penguin Random House, which is jointly owned by German media conglomerate Bertelsmann and British global education and publishing company Pearson PLC.
