Many performers and groups who aren't in the RRHoF is astounding, until you realize that this is run by the same editorial and music staff that ran their rag. So many terrific performers aren't just left out, but purposely excluded. Look how long it took Kiss, Rush, Deep Purple, and Yes to get in. Each had decades of sold-out concerts, multiple gold and platinum albums, and were quite pioneering in their genres. But Jan and his minions just weren't interested.
And look at who's still not in... It's worse than a high school clique.

If you look through the list of inductees (performers) youll see that half of those inducted were never rock nor roll and showed no evidence that they even knew what it was. Of the remaining half, only half of them were really significant. The majority of musicians yhat probably should be in there are not to be found. I suspect some criteria not openly spoken of is the determining factor behind most getting in. Its almost become one of those things where you hope you dont get recognized because you dont want to be associated with most of those already there.
