Marshawn Lynch was ejected from the Raiders' game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night after shoving an official.

Lynch ran from the sidelines onto the field after a late hit by Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters on Raiders quarterback Derek Carr sparked a scuffle at midfield.

The running back inserted himself right into the middle of the scuffle and appeared to shove an official who was trying to break it up.

Then I suppose the biggest question now is when was the whistle blown? I didn’t have the audio. Only what I saw and he was fighting all the way to the instant he was hit.

Most of the videos of this incident that are being shown on enemedia web sites are deliberately NOT including Lynch's sprint off the bench to confront the ref...just the clinch itself.

Let me tell you, Marshawn came off that bench with a sprint that changed into a full-blown charge. If someone that size was coming at me with that speed I would have been in the next county in two seconds.

The video at the top of this thread shows the charge in full.....thank you for posting it, Artichoke.

***Decades of woman beating, rapes, illegal drug use, gambling, dog fighting... All of a sudden the NFL cares about social injustice***

And let's not forget Goodell's rejection of Rush Limbaugh as an owner early on in his destructive commissioner-ship. That is when I began to realize that Goodell's mission was to drive away the NFL's fan base. Good job!

It has already been mentioned on this thread that this attack on a ref is the natural result of allowing protests at game time. ESPN and the Lib enemedia will justify the attack and the NFL can truly realize its destiny: NTL: National Thug League. It has been a painful surgery but I have had the NTL removed from my Sundays.

"Let me tell you, Marshawn came off that bench with a sprint that changed into a full-blown charge."

That's the difference between baseball and football.

In a bench-clearing brawl, the players are expected to get up and scrap with the other team.

In fact, it's considered bad form if you DON'T join in, as you will be ostracized by your teammates. (This happened to George Foster once, when he refused to fight)

But you still don't touch the ump.

Here is another animal.

Lynch came from the sidelines and accosted the ref.

Not only tossed, he should be suspended and fined.

Not a thousand dollars, but in the neighborhood of six figures, and he should be DQ'd for several games.

Unsure why this is one difference between football and baseball.

Maybe it has something to do with the sheer size and power of football players.

Or maybe baseball is more gentlemanly, IDK.

"He should be suspended and fined...."

He got a one-day suspension and no fine. He has filed an appeal which will be heard this coming week.

Stats show that he's not doing too hot so far this year. Maybe his lightning charge from the sidelines across the field to get at the ref will be his best (or dumbest) run for the season.
