Michael Bennett says Colin Kaepernick resolution needed before more talks with owners
ESPN ^ | October 19, 2017 | Brady Henderson

Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett said that before NFL players and the league can move forward with their conversations about working together on social causes, the issue of Colin Kaepernick's unemployment must be addressed.

"I think the first step to even being able to even have a conversation is making sure that Colin Kaepernick gets an opportunity to play in the NFL," Bennett said Wednesday. "I think before we even negotiate anything about whether we sit, whether we stand [during the national anthem], it should be a negotiation about opening up the doors for Colin Kaepernick and giving him an opportunity again, because I feel like through everything, that's been lost.

Goodell and the owners created a Frankenstein monster, and now the monster is running the league.

Not really

Kaepernick just opened the lid on Pandora's box exposing what these ass wipe players really believe

If he was thrown out of the league we would be right where we are today

He did us a favor in exposing what the typical NFL player is really all about

The ball is now in Whitey NFL Fan's court

Obama was Alinsky to the core. He found a small grievance and just kept picking at it and exacerbating it until it was a gaping wound. You are right to trace this sickness back to him; his community organizing methods were toxic from start to finish.

That was excellent analysis. I admit I wondered sometimes why Obama used to mention ESPN so often. I hadn’t realized what a hand and glove relationship some in the sports world had formed with Obama-type leftists.

Good for Trump for forcing the issue. It needed to be exposed to sunlight so that we could all see what had happened.

Exactly right. Here we thought football was about football. How wrong we were. With Kaepernick’s help, we have learned that football is a nasty brew of white-resenting—if not white-hating—social justice.

The secret is out. This toothpaste isn’t going back inside the tube.

Same crap the BLM types are pulling everywhere. Gutless fools in the NFL allowing these overpaid ball peckers to run things.

The deckhands must think they’re running the boat.

Yep. These are deckhands on the Titanic and they have a few demands of the captain before they start fixing the leak. See you later, fellas.

I would not offer CK a job doing the team laundry.

He mad his own bed-—let his die in it.

The ‘opinions’ of the other prima donna over-paid ‘athletes’ doesn’t matter one little bit to me or to many other FORMER fans of the NFL.

Hey- Bennett-—WHEN YOU own a team- you can make such decisions. Until then, STFU.

When the NFL has been broken into oblivion, will the NFL players sue CK for starting the whole fiasco???

I wonder what my boss would say if I informed him that he needed to spend work time with me working on social causes of my choice. I can guess!””

I can promise you that IF I were your boss, it would be one of the shortest conversations in history & I can make out your last paycheck while you are emptying your locker.

I would make sure you got not one red cent in unemployment for deliberately harming the reputation of my company.

No apologies—no 2nd chances-—GONE. & Good Luck in getting any kind of reference IF the new prospective employer asks me the right question:

Is this person eligible for re-hire???

Not only NO-—BUT HELL NO !!! I am allowed to answer that inquiry if stated correctly.

CK started out being a troublemakeer

Then he became toxic

Now, he is radioactive....

He is more than explosive. He is blowing up a multi-billion $$ business in the USA & he is enjoying it.

I wonder if Obama calls him every day to keep him pumped up???

It’s the gf. She has been the driving force all along. Either she just happens to be a genius at destroying both CK and the NFL, or she’s a cats paw for a more astute operator.

Obama doesn’t seem like a very effective person, tbh. (Toxic, definitely, but always more of a tool than the driving force.) I would be more inclined to suspect a Soros connection.

If you have dolts like Michael Bennett speaking for your movement, then you don’t have a movement.

And the owners are seriously afraid of these clowns? Put them in their damn place already.
