I changed parties three years ago. My party left me, and I could no longer stay registered as a republican. The republican party has shifted so far from its original roots, it is not recognizable any more. The party of Lincoln and Reagan is now democrat-lite.

“Ex-Senator says ‘Hateful’ Trump Does Not Represent Party”

Lest we forget: Senator Danforth was the person selected by Attorney General Janet Reno to whitewash the killing of women and children by federal agents at the Branch Davidian church in Waco.

After a year-long "investigation" he found all complaints of the attack and killings without merit. The killings had to be done.

Who stands against a unified nation? Isn’t it the people who support the kneelers?

I’m ready for a peaceful divorce and let a few new americas sprout from the stump of the old America. The alternative is too ghastly to conceive.

“That figures. John Danforth always struck me as a slimy weasel. Something about his face. Don’t know that I can articulate it fully but there’s a “look” or two I’ve come to distrust.“

Perhaps with all the child trafficking pedophile arrests, these people are getting worried justice is closing in?

Reassuring to hear that Trump does not represent the GOP establishment. Third-party, we know already and we love it.

I do not want unity for the sake of unity. I want unity with decent people and opposition to illegals, to evil, to criminals, to predators, and to those who oppose freedom.

LOTS more democrats leaving the left than the other way around...

“Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report used to be a big progressive.

He even had a show with The Young Turks! But now he’s not a progressive. He has left the left. Why? Dave Rubin shares his story.”

You know, I really had not paid much attention that this clown was hand-picked by Janet Reno but that tells me more about him than anything else.

So you’re saying Bannon’s not a conservative? Who else in on your list?

Danforth is referring to a GOP from years ago when being a Republican meant something.....Clinton reduced the GOP to a play ground for sex and good times with pay-to-play. Obama tried hard to make Socialism the party of choice. President Trump is not today's republican nor yesterdays...he stands for the U.S. Constitution and law and order....something sadly missing from the Republican elitists who don't want to 'rock the boat' which is precisely what this POTUS is doing...it is called "Draining the Swamp" of corruption in both parties which has been allowed to grow and fester i.e. waste, piggy back law, ignoring the people, allowing government departments to grow without improving our nation one iota except for making politicians richer. Danforth should be applauding this President, but he wouldn't understand...the people do!

A nation is either unified or it isn’t. You can’t be for or against a unified nation. A place like Japan is far more unified than the US to the extent that it is tradtional and monocultural.

Those conditioned to accept the mantra of the "politically correct," are not so much "obtuse," as simply intimidated.

See What Drives The Trump Haters.

I’ve said it before, many times. Republicans are doing their job, which is to get into office and wield power. What they are better called is CINOs, because they call themselves conservatives to get elected, but once in office they merely exchange talking points with whoever they defeated to get there.

Well he is right Trump doesn’t represent the Republican party. The Republican party is an American hating, progressive 1980’s version of the Democrat party.

Trump just ran as a Republican that doesn’t mean he is one. The Republican party has the chance to rule for generations but the party is going left when its voters are middle of the road or headed right. They are as dumb about their customers as the NFL.

Is there a SINGLE REPUBLICAN who had ANYTHING to say critical about Obama either during his time in office or now (other than standard political discourse)?

...which goes to PROVE that everything Trump is doing IS RIGHT!
