Rep. Danforth got it all wrong.
President Trump is not a true Republican because Trump HAS A FRIGGIN' SPINE.

Danforth? One of the first officers on the ship that arrived to where we were in November 2016. Isn’t there a plank he can go walk?

I think the GOP thinks it can get some of the less insane Democrats to vote for it. It’s given up on conservatives.

No, Dumbforth, it’s your party that does not represent the majority of voters.

I havent been registered as a Republican since 2015.................. Were you 18 at the time? I was 22 when I switched parties to Independent in 62’. I’m not a Republican or Democrat, my loyalty is to the Country, not the party.

Former Sen. John Danforth, R-Mo., was and still is an Undocumented Democrat posing as a republican.

He's right. Trump doesn't represent
the party. The
GOPe party.
But Trump absolutely represents conservatives. And apparently, he's the only one who represents us. And just as apparent, he's the only politician astute enough to get it.
I just can't believe the GOPe are so obtuse as to miss this fact.

"...Former Sen. John Danforth, R-Mo., wrote in The Washington Post that Trump is not a true Republican because of one main reason: he stands against having a unified nation..." I have to admit, I agree with Former Senator John Danforth here, and in spades.
Danforth (and people like him) view the idea that a "unified nation" means agreeing lock, stock, and barrel with liberals.
If you don't, you are against a "unified nation".

That figures. John Danforth always struck me as a slimy weasel. Something about his face. Don’t know that I can articulate it fully but there’s a “look” or two I’ve come to distrust.
With lots of experience, I’m sorry to say.
