Keep it up. 7.5 percent decline YoY on top of a roughly similar decline 2016 compared to 2015.

It’s because viewers are focusing on the 2018 Congressional election instead. Once that’s over they’ll be back.

Of course the owners will support the players who want to grandstand. The players have shown their play will be affected if the owners don’t. The line will not protect a QB, if he doesn’t support the grandstanding. Maybe it is a ‘subtle’ way to let all the QBs get injured so Kaepernick can get a job again. The NFL is committing suicide and I no longer care.

Mark Nov. 12 as Boycott NFL Sunday. It’s the Veteran’s Day weekend, a totally appropriate way to honor their service by leaving seats empty and having a TV blackout throughout the country. Vote with your remote!

You're writing thoughts which a lot of folks, I suspect, are thinking to themselves.

What's happened in Cleveland is appalling. The Browns fans, to a great degree hard-working middle class patriotic people, never gave up on the team. There were times when one had to wonder how they'd fare against some college teams. In spite of that, religiously the fans filled the stands and never gave up hope.

This team just might be the straw that broke the camel's back. They showed great promise, but get worse each game. I worry about the protection the QB they used Sunday will get, if you get my drift.

One can't help but wonder if this young team has been so focused on insulting the fans values during opening ceremonies that they aren't focused on the game.

They are going to keep getting lower now that the seemingly dominant criminal thug player element of the NFL has shifted it's priority focus from 4th and 10 to 4 to 10.

Not smart to focus the publics attention on the NFLs biggest problem

Colin, thanks to you as a BLM/NFL useless idiot, you woke Americans up to the NFL scam on our tvs and in our tax payer stadiums. Your contribution to Americans will be remembered, like 8 years of Obama and H. Clintoon's campaigning gave us President Trump!

NFL = NEW FAR LEFT!

More NFL teams renamed: Oakland Traitors, Baltimore Cravens, Buffalo Bolsheviks, Green Bay Pinkos, Washington Red Guards, Los Angeles Chekists, Jacksonville Jacobins.

Wait until they try to sell the high priced season-long corporate boxes and season tickets.

To get a real picture of the ratings decline they should be comparing viewership to 2015, not 2016. 2016 numbers were already declining. I, for one, didn't watch a single game last year.

If salary caps fall then you will know if the boycott is having an impact. It’s all about revenues.

In the end, I think very soon the NFL’s corporate sponsors are going to start bailing in a big way. I think the first to bail: Hyundai Motor Company, because early in 2018 they will release the long-awaited Hyundai Kona and Kia Stonic subcompact SUV’s and don’t want to be in a middle of a consumer boycott when that happens.

Thanks for bringing that up. I think the word is spreading but we must not let up and keep spreading the word.

I am a football fan, and used to be an NFL fan. I was annoyed for sure when this whole thing started, but we hung in there just watching the “Red Zone”. Then, the day the NFL players knelt for the US anthem, and stood for the UK anthem was the last and final insult. As a veteran, I cannot and will not forgive that action. I am done for good and I am enjoying watching the NFL commit business self-murder.

NFL white liberal elites and their pets - - who prop up their power - - are destroying an American sport... Sad.
