James has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and spoke at length about his social activism at the Cavs' media day.

"I will in my voice, I will in my passion, I will in my money, I will in my resources to my youth and my inner city and outside my inner city to let these kids know that there is hope, there is greater walks of life, and not one individual, no matter if it's the president of the United States...can stop your dreams from becoming a reality," James said.

During the national anthem before the game, all Cavaliers players stood while linking arms, while the Celtics players stood as normal.

What’s funny is that 8 years ago he would have said the opposite when Obama became President.

8 yrs ago:”Obama is an example that you can make it in America”...LOL

Lebron is so full of it.

This organized religion of sports has been a problem for quite some time.

Yeah, just like All Star Wrestling, NASCAR....gladiators...it's all the same.

These guys are so stupid, they don’t know what they are protesting. But hey, they don’t need to know, they are are millionaires, oblivious to anything except their paycheck. Money does change most everyone—everyone except those that don’t take it for granted.

I love basketball and sports but who is LeBron James? Never heard of him. I checked Twitter and I didn’t see anything about this LeBron guy. Seems like this guy is a big deal, however, I did watch my Devils defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight. Great game... skill and speed on skates. I might have to watch more of this archaic sport instead of Football, NBA and BET.

I’ve heard Lebron talk and I’ve read his tweets. He’s a real imbecile. Surprised he graduated high school.
Before someone explains it to me—yeah, I’m sure they pushed him along. It shows, man he’s thick.

LeBron James wore shoes that say "equality" for the Cavaliers' season-opener against the Celtics.

Equality? How about the NBA total salary of about $3.3 billion divided by 360 active players, so Lebron can have a pay cut from $30 million to $9.1 million.

Or even divide his salary among the entire country so everyone can have a shiny new dime.

Let’s end all affirmative action so that there is equality in hiring, retention, and promotion.

Unfortunately, I can’t boycott the NBA because I haven’t watched those thugs for decades.

NBA wants to see if they can match the NFL’s rapid fall, and I’m okay with that. Professional athletes used to take another job during the off season because they needed the money. Perhaps returning to that pay scale would give them more exposure to real Americans and teach them to appreciate American values.

It's easy to fault LeBron for a lot of things.

On the social issues and giving back to his community, he is stellar. In Akron, every year he sponsors a lot of children with mentoring, opportunities, and a paid for college education when they finish HS if they meet qualifications. By all accounts, he had the wisdom to choose a wonderful wife and has a family to be proud of.

But when he opens his mouth about whatever he tells us that deep inside he's a narcissistic black racist loon.
