Once “making whoopie” became commonplace on TV it was only a short trip to “fuggin’ they bitches” on prime time TV.

You should reference the infamous “clean his balls” line on Hollywood Squares wherein Kent McCord (of Adam-12 fame) almost got up and walked off the set in disgust.

I think it was Florence Henderson who said it. She was talking about golf/golfers, IIRC.
