Does she sing phonetically? This interview makes it sound like she doesn’t speak Spanish. She says one of the only two apps she has on her phone is one for learning Spanish.

Then the interview turns into Trump bashing What else do you expect from moonbeam's beard? Hard to give respect to someone who helps a leftist queer politician appear straight to fool the voters so he could screw over California the first time, at least moonbeam married his beard for the second run.

What do you mean break up song? You use it to break up with someone, or you listen to it after a breakup?

We all liked the Stone Poneys while I was overseas. I've kept all her vinyl records, and have reel-to-reel tapes saved off ~1971 TV's "Good Time Hour" when she appeared with Glenn Campbell.
When I need to reflect on what a great voice she had, I get them out. "Different Drummer" accompanied a tough breakup.

I worked a concert of hers in Ames, Iowa. Part of the stage crew. Saw her come off the platform after the show, and she was so drained they had to give her oxygen. But sweaty from the lights and pale as bleached moonlight, she was still a goddess.
Not like today ...

Lush Life and For Sentimental Reasons are magnificent records.
The Nelson Riddle Orchestra played perfectly and Linda sang beautifully.
They’re not Rock-n-Roll records but covers of classics from the 1930’s and 40’s

“That song. Still hurts after all these years.”

It’s a fantastic “lost love” song, touching in kind of the same way as “All I Know” by Art Garfunkel.

Oh yes...One of those vinyl records has a brief children's melody squeezed onto a track.
"[Midnight]'s the only bronc I could not ride. Now they tell me Midnight's blind. He only rides the children for a dime."
Linda sings this to bring tears! So sad...

“Someone to Lay Down Beside” is such a great scorcher of a song. She does it amazing justice.

Take care of yourself and don’t slop at the trough and you won’t be a disgusting fat body.
I’m in better shape in my 60s than I was in my 40s.
So I suppose I am an exception, and you can speak for yourself. But not me.

I liked her The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down. That was Joan Baez. Linda Ronstadt never covered it.
