That only happens if people feel like they, somehow, represent them in some mysterious way. Break that bond, and its just a bunch of guys in silly outfits doing who cares what.
I don’t think they get that even yet. But they will. It just may be too late when they do. They are destroying their own livelihood.

NFL owners will be digging deep in their personal wallets to make up for the millions former fans aren’t giving them to pay their multi-million dollar “protesting” Prima Donnas.

The Southeast is dominated by college football. It doesn’t surprise me that the NFL isn’t as popular there as it is in other parts of the U.S.
Last night I ate at a restaurant that used to have NFL or college football on whenever a game was on. But instead they had the European version of football - soccer. Five screens I could see and not one was NFL.
Awesome! There is hope yet! I go into a cigar place quite frequently and sit down and visit. They have 4 TV’s. Two were set to NFL football yesterday. I told the owner I wouldn’t be buying there when televising the NFL. He just shrugged his shoulders. Makes me wonder if anyone else has said the same to him but his reaction was less than I expected. I suppose more want it on than don’t so...
They’ll be protesting in college football if they haven’t been already.
Went to a local restaurant/bar yesterday for lunch with wife.
Asked the propieter to change channel on tv that had on the National Felon’s League.
He actually complied, most probably because no one was watching.
Eff the NFL.
And you won’t see many fans boycotting those college teams, either.

Many people still go because they paid alot of money for season tickets
But come next year, look out.
Current ticketholders who feel “obligated” to use their seats could at least not purchase concessions or gear.
And don’t watch other games on TV nor “SportsCenter” “nfl Live” etc, shows like that.
