I wonder if my freedom of speech means I can wave a confederate flag at their games or at one of their schools?
Not enough people seem to make that connection, IMO.
Our opponents had a big problem with the Confederate flag and with memorials to Confederate soldiers -- who are officially US veterans. A lot of people were persuaded to back down and not push the issue. No one wanted to be a racist. No one wanted to "support slave owners". And so Confederate flags became almost universally hidden away as shameful things.
And here we are -- take down your American flags. That symbol of racism is no longer OK ...
It's got to stop.
My 12 year old granddaughter was given the honor of carrying the American flag at her Middle School’s football this weekend. She loved it. And a northern Virginia school to boot. Too many combat veterans and career military people as parents/relatives who don’t put up with any PC protest crap.
