A friend is coming over with her horses.

Furnace man is coming to winterize my furnace.

Church, home for a ribeye steak and a glass of red in front of collegiate rugby tournament the Rugby Channel dot com. I’m a happy camper...

Member of local FBC in my town.

The SBC cucked out...I just can’t bring myself to go. Once in a while I go about every 6-8 weeks and major holidays.

For me Sunday means sleeping in.

I guess I’ll work on keeping my seven cars running so my shiftless kids can go hither and yon without a care in the world.

Or maybe I’ll just have fun with my four motorcycles.

MLB playoffs.....then since we get 6ft to 8ft of snow during winter...shoveling snow. Used to not do in on Sunday because of NFL.

I live on a cattle farm. Always chores, maintenance and projects to do everyday, Sunday or otherwise.

I never had time to watch the NFL so it's not hard to break a habit.

But both my wife and I are veterans and we're astounded that the NFL has been so weak on this kneeling-during-the-national-anthem protest. Where are the adults in leadership?

I'm sorry but it is a no-brainer in America to come down on the side of the flag, national anthem and our country under any circumstance.

Of course, the NFL is shooting themselves in the foot on this one.

I hate MLB postseason. 162 games without Joe Buck, and then I’m force-fed that imbecile. I’m watching with no sound until I get up and see if my Sirius subscription lets me get another feed.

Great. I can get John and Suzyn, but they are way, way behind live.

Since my team left the Panthers in the litter box Thursday night, I’ll probably mow the lawn and go over to the local Golf Galaxy to buy a used putter I’ve tried out several times in the last month. Of course, Mr. Murphy will probably enable it’s sale before I get there. Then instead of watching the Sunday night NFL game, the wife treated me to front row tickets to ZZ Top who I’ve never seen before. Cheap sunglasses.

John Sterling is tough enough to listen to. I absolutely cannot stand Suzyn - and half the time it sounds like John can barely tolerate her. Totally inane color commentary. I honestly wonder how she got the job. I always search for the away team feed on Sirius. Go Yanks!

I don’t like the Astros, so I don’t want their feed either. And, Joe Buck is a one-man Astro’s feed anyway. I’m just watching in silence, which is far from engaging.

Wife and I switched to NHL and got Colorado Avalanche season tickets. It was a bit of a splurge but worth every penny.

Now I just need to learn the game.

The NFL needs to handle the National Anthem before game time the same way the NBA does.
Put the requirement in rules/procedures and expect the players/coaches, etc to abide.

Every week I make Sunday dinner for my family. The kids and grandkids and, sometimes, a friend, gather after church, eat our meal, made mostly from scratch while we discuss our week. The young ones sit right there at the table and are involved in the conversations, too, telling us about their week and what is on their mind. Is this easy. No. I work almost all day on Saturday cooking and preparing for Sunday dinner. However, it is one of the most important things I do because we are transmitting values to the next generation through the time we spend with them and they feel supported in their current lives because of this togetherness. As long as I can function, I will do this because it is what we are supposed to do.

Range time. I shoot every Sunday. Real Americans are going to need certain skills at some point in America’s future.
