The NFL said on Friday it has no plans to mandate players stand for the U.S. national anthem, but will rather present a possible solution on how to end the controversial protests when it meets with team owners next week.

As long as the kneel, I am out. I want an apology and a promise never to do that again while in uniform. They can do what they like on their own time, just like us peasants.
As for equality. My job is protecting critical infrastructure. I can argue my job is more important than theirs. Why am I not making $5 million a year. I demand equality.

Undermine a “platform” thoroughly enough and it collapses, no matter how broad, no matter how famous. Down it goes.
You’d really “go back” if they apologized and never did it again? I don’t understand why you would do this. You’d have to know they weren’t sincere.
After the players, owners, and media have shown their true colors, why should they be rewarded with lining their pockets with fans’ hard-earned money? Refusing to fund their enrichment is Americans’ strongest “tool”.
