I have a bit of experience with mag loops. See my QRZ page. Good performance without needing height. A band scope is really useful for this type of antenna though. Mine fits in the back seat of my car so it would meet your needs. KD2CFG

How about a band opening ping list? Would be nice to communicate with fellow freepers. I'm on 75 right now and listening to the 2 meter call freq as usual.
