I have an iPhone 5c and I love Siri. Anyone who messes with her messes with me.

The new Siri sounds like Nurse Ratched.

I despise and hate everything Google, and was casting about, trying different alternatives. And now I am forced to use it at work.
I cannot express how painful and inefficient it is.
Of course, Siri has been great for me, but iOS11 broke my microphone, so I have some axe grinding to do. I use Siri constantly to set alarms, read messages, dictate, etc.

Who is that? Looks a little like the gal who was in Animal House and Raiders of The Lost Ark, but...that can’t be her.

You are correct. That is NOT Karen Allen.

What do June Cleaver, Harriet Nelson, and Siri have in common?
They’re famous women who don’t work.

She vaguely reminds me of her...which is fine, because I always found her freckled face kinda nice to look at

Siri is, and has always been useless.

Hahahahaha...that is at least true for me right now.
Siri has always worked grand for me, but I work with Speech Recognition professionally, so I know how to talk to her to make her purr...:)

I would differ, but as I said in a previous post, I have been administering speech software for a while, so I am not a good spokesman...

LOL, as I am getting older, I just can’t get the names anymore, so I beat all around the bush with everything else until someone can tell me!
My wife has her eyes in a perpetual roll state now...:)

I dont know why, but Ive never gotten much help from Siri and I dont like her voice. Ive started using Alexa for various compatible devices and I like her much better - she also understands my input better and sounds less mechanical in her response.
There could be many reasons. Im a woman, and perhaps Siri understands male voices better? I dont know.
Then again, maybe this is just a highly individual preference on the part of the user.

All I know is I asked Siri what color her eyes are, and she said:
“That’s a fine question. Now can we get back to work?”

LOL, why don’t you change Siri to a man’s voice and see if he obeys better...no...wait...

Siri, in contrast, didnt fare all that well, with researchers finding that Apples AI checked in with an IQ of 23.9. So about the same as an NFL wide receiver.
