None of us here knows how we would feel, were it us performing instead, at least I do not.
It may take him quite a while to deal with that many reminders of how close he came to dying. Of course, it would have been the ‘right, nice and noble’ thing to do, but trauma doesn’t always follow the expectations of your base.

When Ariana Grande had her concert bombed earlier this year in Manchester, England, she wanted to cancel her tour, but was talked into returning to England and doing it anyway.
It’s not something most people would ever be prepared for.
Maybe it’s just way too soon for Jason Aldean to return to the scene with all those visual reminders of that moment.
