For some background, Worth County is in the Tifton Judicial Circuit. So while the sheriff would run county wide, the DA and the Judge run Circuit wide. Worth county has around 20,000; Tift has about twice as many. (The other two counties in the circuit don’t come up to 20,000 combined.) Looks like the DA operates out of Tift County.

Their standard answer - "other parents aren't protesting". Some parents don't get involved in looking out for their kids or can't be bothered.
