Morrie got something, but it wsn’t his money.
I've seen it written that to both film critics and those who work in the industry that scene is considered one of the all-time classic film scenes.IIRC it was filmed with what I think was called a "steadycam" (whatever that means).
It wasn't too long ago that I discovered where some of the scenes from the film were shot...including the scene with the neighbor and the red Corvette. Some day I'm gonna drive past those houses when I'm in the area (New Rochelle or Scarsdale, can't recall which).Maybe I'll even see "Karen" there...who was so beautiful in that film it outta be illegal!
It’s a great scene. The long, one-take tracking shot is such a Scorsese trademark. And Lorraine Bracco is very babish, at least in the early part of the film. The later scenes, not so much, but the lifestyle was taking its toll on her and everyone else.
I got to get the papers, get the papers.
Tommy DeVito: [about Morrie’s corpse] Hey Frank, let’s chop him up.
Frankie Carbone: All right.
[starts to get out of the car]
Tommy DeVito: Where you going? Where you going, you dizzy m...................., you?
Frankie Carbone: To chop him up.
Tommy DeVito: At Charlie’s, not here!
[Carbone mumbles to himself in Italian]
Tommy DeVito: Come on, what are you doing? Let’s get the .... outta here. I oughta let him
[motions to Morrie]
Tommy DeVito: f....... drive. What are you waiting for?
Frankie Carbone: The car’s cold.
Tommy DeVito: Get the ..... outta here! What f......... warm enough? Get outta here!

Also used very effectively by Paul Thomas Anderson for the opening scene of Boogie Nights.

One very happy scene.
Now youse can’t leave.
Bronx Tale
And, I forgot "The Departed". Fun to watch Nicholson play, well, "Jack Nicholson". Whatta creep.
I've not seen "Black Mass" yet. It's on my list, one of these days.
So many deaths this year from Harry Potter and Twin Peaks movies as well as the Sopranos/Goodfellas casts. Out of Fox News’ “Stars Who Died in 2017”, probably 15-20 out of 85.
Animal House and The Sopranos also had some good ones.
Come on in. Have a beer. Don’t cost nuthin’.
RIP.
RIP Morrie, you point shaving SOB!
Eeerie just the other day I watched this Sopranos clip

That’s him as the old Jewish guy
RIP
I’m not sure if I’d have recognized him right off without you identifying him. I could probably go back and re-watch the whole series. I only saw most of the eps just once. It’s hard to believe Gandolfini is gone. :-(
