Much as I’d like to see the Quran become very hard to come by, I can’t get behind a totalitarian state confiscating it. If they can come for one holy book, they can gin up an excuse to come after mine. They’ve recently banned children from church services.
Gotta hand it to the Chinese and Rooskies- they do not mess around when it comes to internal security. The trick is how to apply best practices from their skillset in a representative republic.
