My cousin Diane used to think it was great fun when playing with the metal tipped lawn darts to spin around until she was good and dizzy and then just let the dart fly.
Landed one on the hood of Dad’s new Oldsmobile.
Dad went and got the lawn dart.
He brought it back to her and “accidentally” dropped it on her foot.
She was barefoot.
Her foot was stuck to the ground and she was spinning around in circles screaming.
We do a dance at every family reunion called The Diane Spin where you plant your left foot and spin in circles.
She doesn’t think it’s funny.
I think it’s hilarious.
There is video of humblegunner driving an ATV while someone shoots bottle rockets at him. I don’t think it was a Tuesday, though.
