This chart would be more interesting if they showed the rates by COUNTY.

For example in NY State, I would guess there are 5 counties responsible for 90% of the cases.

That would be more interesting. I googled TN STD by county and got cases, but I had to go to another site to get population to make the comparison.

I am surprised Nashville is as close to Memphis in rates, but Nashville has gays. Williamson county south of Nashville is more upscale. And Hickman is poor as dirt, but I threw them in to see if very very rural was better.
