Frankly I am DONE with the whole NFL. I quit watching about 90% of the games when they railroaded Rush Limbaugh out of an ownership stake. The bigotry was plain to me. I swore the league off then.
I would still tune in for a Super Bowl or a hyped game...but only occasionally.
Now, I am finished.
I have begun to look at NFL sponsors and will work to consciously avoid them.
All that being said as a qualifier, I think the Cowboys made the CORRECT choice in STANDING for the National Anthem.
They chose very poorly.

It was pointed out to me that the quote from Jones about firing anthem protesters was single sourced and without any sort of verification.
Given his actions tonight, I don’t believe he ever said it.
What is really going on here is the NFL is lead by a progressive, they have surrounded themselves with like minded progs in suits and they either can’t fathom the reaction from Joe Sixpack because they’ve been in that echo chamber so long, or they are gambling that the fans will simply boo a little and keep right on spending.
My guess is that it is a little of both, along with some pressure serious pressure from NFL HQ to “toe the line so we can weather this together”.
The first NFL suit to publicly break with the current suicidal NFL policy is going to get fired before any protesting players do.

Not a terrible fence-straddling move, but BLM needs to be shamed for not caring about blacks killing blacks much much more often than police.

Someone should mention the CLASS ACT that was the Arizona Cardinals and organizers of the pregame. The Cardinals stood arm in arm through the full ceremony that included the the display of an American flag covering the full football field and the singing of the National Anthem.
As a bonus we got to see that jerk Jerry Jones watching his team get booed as the whole team knelt.
