Thanks! It's really difficult to be serious about the topic, because so many wrongs have been committed with bad laws and policies since the 1960s. We went from bad enough to far worse.

During the 1960s, there were two divorced drunks--a man and a woman--on my block out of roughly, maybe 40 families. Physical fights were very rare and restricted to those two individuals over the course of more than 10 years. Now, most of the neighbors are divorced and/or cohabiting and on drugs. The neighborhood is mostly a mess of miseries being repeatedly recycled through the system.
