I worry a lot less when I read articles like this now, since we have moved out of Mexifornia and into a rural homestead. We may not be perfectly ready but we’re a lot better off than we were. With neighbors that seem to be extremely like-minded.
Having like-minded neighbors is key. You don’t have enough hard-hearted allies.
