Luv seeing empty NFL stadiums. Chickens coming home to roost.

Hahaha. The nfl apparently is anti-American and anti-civil-society. Hahaha. There is much more to life than watching overpaid-ingrates and irritating commercials. Hahaha.

I watched some of the 1st half & I commented to my wife that cameras were NOT showing the crowd which led me to believe, rightly so as it turns out, that attendance was less than preferred.

A 49ers ticket and a buck will get you a cup of coffee.

Incredible.

The Rams are playing to a half full LA Coliseum.

The Chargers, during their first season in LA, can’t sell out their temporary home in a 27,000 seat soccer stadium.

Are other cities having trouble too?

I know apologists will say that tickets are paid for, but there are some no shows at every game. And talk about big news stories keeping people away from the game, plus not watching on TV, as the TV ratings are falling.

Time for the NFL thugs to get a pay cut.

The reality is that TV and cable are dying. They tried to use football to save themselves. But they are actually bringing football down as millennials refuse to watch TV and refuse to pay for cable. You add to that boomers who don’t like the knee and new football rules that take the fun out of the game, causing the game to go the way of baseball.

The one thing saving football is that there really isn’t any mass market competitor. Especially when it comes to advertising to men.

What’s up with that field-sized American flag? Are they trying to pretend that they are patriotic, to restore their fan base? Too little, too late, IMO.

Attendance: 70,178
100%
Capacity: 68,500

This is from espn.com. Who are you going to believe, ESPN or your lying eyes?

If the contracts these athletes signed could be voided or at least decreased due to the decreased crowds at games and decreased viewership on TV and ensuing decreased revenues, there would be some serious changes in the acts of those players kneeling during the games.

Who wants to pay good money to see a bunch of ignorant and treasonous pricks who whine about the country that made them rich?

Maybe they’re all in the concourse area slurping their cioppino, sipping their Chardonnay and smoking their pot.

Looks about half-full, but it was a reported sell-out. I know there are always some no-shows, but not that many! And what’s with the uniforms? Neither side looks like they’re wearing 49er uniforms.

Waiting for some pundit to say that if the NFL would only rehire Kapernick and apologize for being so racist, the fans would forgive and the stands would fill back up.

Chiefs play the Chargers on Sunday. I understand that San Diego Los Angeles hasn't been able to sell out a 27,000 seat soccer stadium. Could be interesting.

The NFL has been in one of the most enviable positions imaginable.

Most brands have to advertise to scratch and claw to maintain market share.

NFL teams have such loyal fans that they have not had to advertise to get people to watch their product, instead they get to charge other companies huge sums of money to televise their shows .

The NFL ha been seemingly immune to downturn in the past and, like the rest of the American elite, it’s become spoiled, arrogant in it behavior and embarrassed and contemptuous of middle class fans who support it.

All at time when the viewers have almost unlimited entertainment options.

The NFL players have fouled their own nests

Fire Goodell, fire kneelers (let them do their thing outside the job area where they are so grossly overpaid that I can’t understand why they’re bytchin’ to begin with) and take politics as a whole out of the NFL!
