Hundreds of Wonder Woman fans have signed a petition urging the filmmakers behind this summer’s blockbuster hit to write what they say is superhero Diana Prince’s obvious bisexuality into the script for the upcoming sequel.

It will happen, since Hollywood has zero ability to resist pressure groups like this. But it has also been hinted at since the earliest comics, so it isn’t something totally off the wall like a female Thor.
If they succeed, they will sink a potentially successful DC movie franchise - the only one except for Batman.
Fans are not petitioning this. Fans do not really want to see a superhero’s personal life, when it comes to relationships or sex.
Because pushing a liberal agenda is far more important than selling tickets when making a multi-million dollar movie.

Batman was already sunk the moment they cast Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

There may be a correlation, but the answer is no. There always have been “manly” women, and many of them, we know, loved being female, and loved being mothers. While my mother did not become an historical person, she enjoyed sports and being physical. She was also tall (for a woman) and athletic. It was easy for me, when I saw Wonder Woman, to see my mother as one of the Amazons.
Conversely, I could say the same thing for men.
While most people are strongly hetero (of their physical sex), a meaningful minority are gender fluid, at least while young. Even among these people, most of them figure things out and are or choose to be hetero as they mature.
The gender Nazis don’t want people to form their own identity or to figure out how they fit into the world around them, because the overwhelming majority are or will choose to be hetero. The gender Nazis want to typecast everybody. They are totally prejudiced and totalitarian. And, they are also scientifically wrong.
The hard-core pornography industry probably has that covered already.
