The 747 was the most comfortable aircraft I flew in on my many trips to Europe. The newer Boeings were also pretty good but the Airbus aircraft had seats made out of concrete and were terrible.

I always wanted to fly on one. Of all of my trips, never a 747.

DC-10 check
L-1011 (my fav) several times
And most of the others.

I used to have first class upgrades and enough miles for 2 roundtrips to Paris on TWA. Maybe I’m fortunate I never got to use them. Because it was during that time, too.

There was always a TWA 747 loading up for Paris whenever I departed Lambert - it was right across from my gate - used to see it nearly every week or every couple of weeks.

The Airbus 321 seats are simply awful.
