If the Son of Man doesn't know the day or hour, he cannot be Omniscient, ergo, Jesus cannot be God. Jesus said, "I and the Father are One". The problem with your interpretation is you don't understand what Jesus was saying. You read it as an uniformed American Christian. Read it as an informed Jew and it will clear things up. The date for the return of Jesus was set from the foundation of the world. He knows. He went to the cross on the appointed day and hour, was put in the tomb on the appointed day and hour, and rose from the grave at the appointed time. Jesus knew the appointed time for the Holy Spirit to come because He sent Him on Pentecost. We will be Raptured on some Feast of Trumpets and Married to Christ on the appointed time. Father arranged the wedding so He knows the time. Jesus and the Father are one. BTW, the Rev 12 sign is in the sky TODAY and Trumpets is tomorrow and Friday. Since Trumpets doesn't start until two witnesses see the New Moon, the Feast is 2 days and no one knows exactly when it will start. But we are warned to WATCH! 1 Thess 5:1-11 tells us the Jews are NOT in darkness,....they know. The Lord's days are described in Lev 23 and Gen 1:14 tells us the sun moon and stars are for signs and appointed times. Virgo has Jupiter in her womb right now and 3 extra planets are added to Leo's 9 stars to make 12. The sun is at her head and the moon is at her feet. The last time this happened was when Adam and Eve were in the garden. It's a Jubilee year and the UN is announcing "peace and safety" tomorrow.

If the sky darkens in the middle of the day so we can actually see the sign( the sun is in Virgo so we look at the sun and we can't see the sign), the you will know for sure. Forget the planet stuff. If God needs the sun darkened, He can darken the sun as He did when Jesus hung on the cross.
