Christian Numerologist Says World Will End On Sept. 23

If you had plans for the weekend, a Christian numerologist says you won’t get to them because the world is about to end.

David Meade, a self-proclaimed “researcher,” is predicting that a series of apocalyptic events will begin on Sept. 23 and, “a major part of the world will not be the same.”

According to Meade, the mysterious rogue planet Nibiru, also known as Planet X, is on a collision course with Earth, which will bring world-ending tsunamis and earthquakes. The numerologist claims the dates of recent events like the Great American Solar Eclipse and Hurricane Harvey’s flooding of Texas were all marked in the Bible. Meade now says his “Planet X theory” lines up with more bible codes and ancient markers on the Egyptian pyramids.

NASA has already dismissed the prediction; calling the whole thing a hoax. The space agency has reportedly known about the Nibiru conspiracy theory for years and shot down the talk of Armageddon in a 2012 statement.

“If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth … astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye.”

Meade is a self-published author who writes that he studied astronomy at the University of Louisville. He and other doomsayers have actually been saying Nibiru would crash into the Earth several times before; which clearly did not happen. The latest prediction came in 2012 and was linked to the end of the Mayan calendar.

Robbery Suspect Plans To Sue Good Samaritan Who Stopped Robbery

Further casting doubt on the theory, a Montreal-based radio producer attempted to book Meade for an interview to discuss his prediction, but he informed her that he wasn’t available for interviews until next week.

Well, since I'm planning a short road trip on the 23rd, I'm sure I'll get an unobstructed view of Planet X as it crashes into my car on I-66 . . .

DANG!

No, you don't understand what He was saying. What we think is a plain unambiguous statement as a Christian, a Jew understands completely. We've all been taught that the Word was in the beginning. The Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Was Jesus God? Does God know everything? I and the Father are One. Whatever the Father knows, Jesus knows.

Now, lets look at a typical Jewish wedding at the time of Jesus. The father pays the bride price and the Bride agrees to the wedding. The Bridegroom goes home, usually to the fathers house and builds a room for him and the bride to consummate the wedding. When the Father approves of the dwelling, he sends the son to get his bride. The groom told the bride I must go prepare a place for you that where I am you may be also. The Father says when to get her. This denotes this whole thing is designed like a Jewish wedding.

Now, when is the wedding to be? He has to go get his bride and bring her home.( Rapture) When does Scripture say it is? The Last Trump. When is the Last Trump? Feast of Trumpets.( Lev 23)Who wrote Lev 23? The Word. Who is the Word? Jesus.

Just like "No One knows the day or the hour" means Trumpets. Trumpets is 2 days and there is no moon, then there is a new moon and Trumpets begins sometime in that 2 day span. Jesus lacked NOTHING. He wrote it. There is no plan "B".

All this debate comes from Christians not being taught Jewish things. To understand Jewish culture, laws, and customs, opens the Bible up to greater understanding. It's not necessary for salvation, but the knowledge you gain from understanding what Jesus was doing and saying is tremendous. It takes months of study of the feasts. It take months of study of Hebrew words. You learn early to take 2 or more verses to make up your mind and not take one verse out of context.

Just as one example of what I'm talking about, Look at Mat 25:6. It says " And at midnight a cry was heard: Behold the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!

I hope we can all agree this is the Rapture. Look at the last word "him". Now go to your Strongs and look that word up. I have G846. G846 says "a baffling wind;backward". How does a pronoun get to a backward baffling wind? IMO, the Holy Spirit takes us up to meet the bride in the air, but the KJV says "him".

If you can't accept Jesus as omniscient, can we at least agree that the "Last Trump" happens on Feast of Trumpets? By repeating over and over that no one knows the day or hour, we give the impression that no one can know. That's just not true! I know, and if I know, Jesus knows. Jesus will come for His Bride on some Feast of Trumpets that has a sign in the heavens that looks something like Rev 12. If He is going to release chains and set people free, and return land to the original owner( Jesus), that has to be a Jubilee year( this is Jubilee this year). I'm NOT setting a date! I'm just saying that the sign is in heaven, It's Jubilee, and Trumpets is this week. He is not coming on some random date in January that's not a Feast Day.

Why do we need to know this? The Bible says we should be WATCHING!!! Do a word search for "watch" and read the verses relevant to the Rapture. They all indicate if you aren't watching you could be left behind. He will come as a thief in the night to those that don't watch for His return. Read Rev 2-3 and see all the churches save 2 will be left behind. One will go to heaven because they will die for Christ. The other is the Church of Brotherly love. Christ tells them they will be spared the "trial" to come to the whole earth. There will be more left behind than go. Noah was told 7 days before the rain fell to get in the Ark. Lot was removed from Sodom before the fire fell. Why is the church running around telling everyone to just sit tight because we can't know when He's coming? If I'm still here next Monday, fine! I will still be looking for next year at Trumpets to be going. I don't know how God will arrange for the Rev 12 sign again, but there is nothing to hard for God, ( unless you believe He doesn't know when He's getting married)

Just a thought,....How would you feel if you told your wife to be, that you are getting married next Saturday and you came for her and she wasn't dressed when you got there, hadn't fixed her hair, and told you she didn't know when you were coming? Anticipation of the Lamb's Wedding should be pretty high on our list as a Christian. Many that think they are going will be left where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Most of the parables address this very subject.

It is Theologians that gave us “Junk Religion.”

You are making this too complicated by orders of magnitude. Any time the end result of a legnthy, wordy exegesis is to establish that the text doesn’t say what it says, the exegesis is faulty.

God the Father was never incarnate. Jesus was. During that extremely limited period of time, Jesus, we are told, relinquished his grasp on equality with God, emptied Himself and took the form of a bond-servant and the likeness of men. His statement that He Himself did not know the hour was true. That limitation applied to the Incarnation only. As soon as Jesus resumed His position as the Second Person of the Godhead, His perfect omniscience was restored.

I’m beginning to think this secret rapture doctrine—which is the second newest doctrine in Christendom—is a mental illness. It makes otherwise sane people irrational. It doesn’t take hundreds of words to explain Jesus’ statement. It was a simple statement with a simple meaning, and is crystal clear in light of the Incarnation.

Btw, do you have any idea what it means to be ready for the Lord’s return? Jesus told us plainly and very exactly what we’re supposed to be doing. Do you know what He said?

It is Theologians that gave us “Junk Religion.”

Yehova definitely did not give us “Theologians,” the adversary did!

There certainly are quack-theologians just as there are quack scientists. But there are many religious quacks that are not theologians. Mega preachers who focus on the doctrines of sending in money for blessings more than serving the Kingdom of God certainly come to mind.

But theology is a science in the broad sense. It is not an Empirically driven methodological science like physics, but the word actually means the "science of God". Just as the word "biology" means the "science of life".

More specifically a "theologian" is simply one who takes the study of God seriously, and uses reason and evidence as carefully as possible (or as carefully as the particular theologian actually does in practice). Obviously there are going to be some wrong guesses and false theories....as in any science. And such errors are harder to correct by controlled experiment, being that the subject matter is far bigger than we are. But still there is plenty of evidence for a careful and reasonable student of God to learn.

A person who makes a good honest reasonable effort is what we call a "theologian". Those that short cut the process and have disdain for those that don't are not, on my view, more likely to get closer to the truth about God.

Saint Paul was a theologian. He made the point in the first chapter of Romans that based on natural theology that the existence of God and His eternal nature should be obvious to all, and that people are without the excuse of saying they didn't know a righteous God existed. To be fair, Paul was talking to smart academic thinkers...not common people. He may have cut the average Joe a bit more slack.

Many of the great thinkers who founded modern science and mathematics were also theologians to some extent or another. Particularly in the area of natural theology (what can be determined about God without appealing to special revelation).

Currently I am very much enjoying a study of one such brilliant mathematician named Rene Descartes, who wrote "Meditations of First Philosophy" in which he brilliantly demonstrates the principles Saint Paul was talking about. This work is not easy to understand, it makes one think, and think very deeply, before one gets what he was saying beyond the first couple of meditations. But I assure you, it is the polar opposite of "junk religion".
