Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It runs between Cleveland and Akron and joins up with the Cleveland Metro Parks. Oe of, if not the best, urban park systems in the country.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It's a densely forested valley in which remnants of the lock system of the Ohio Canal, the partner of the Erie Canal that connected New York with the Ohio, Mississippi, New Orleans and the Gulf of Mexico in the nineteenth century, thus uniting the middle and south of the country with the northeast remain.

I live within a couple miles of the park and it's wild enough that we have beaver dams, wolves, great blue heron nesting sites, and white tail dear who show up in small herds crossing our lawn. There are even rumors of Sasquatch sightings, although I've never seen one.
