That’s why I opted for a propane-powered generator: far easier & safer to store 20lb canisters than jugs of gasoline.

Here in North-East Florida, we can get along for 2 weeks without power, at this time of year. The weather is in 80’s, we have plenty of water stored and enough long lasting food to last 2 weeks. So did not invest in any type of generators. But I will miss scrambled eggs and bacon and coffee in the mornings.
