I was reconnected to to a "supervisor of sorts" who asked why I was canceling. I was about to complain about the injection of politics into the mission of the Salvation Army when he asked, "Is this in reference to Mar-a-Lago?" When I responded yes, he said maybe I would consider returning when leadership changes or has a change of heart.
Apparently, The Salvation Army has received more than a few complaints about the CEO's decision.
